I've forgotten what I said, but hoping it'll work this time: love the depth of tone, the contrasts, the richness of colour, wish I'd painted it, but though I didn't, you've inspired me. So very well done. Great flow and artistry.

It's laconic and full of expression. You trust your viewer, you don't talk much. The bold and confident patch of black on the right is holding the composition. I like the poetic licence of the foreground.
