I think we can conclude: that you've done it again... it's amazing how much strength you can achieve in a watercolour, while still keeping it simple, and translucent.

Less is more again Alan, nice sketch

Like it all, especially the peerless treatment of the left background and ships. You’re making me homesick Alan, if you keep this up I shall have to nip up to London.

I love starting new books, whether it's painting/reading or writing - takes me right back to school days. Another great start Alan.

Nice combination of browns and greys and excellent atmospheric perspective.

Like it, simple and beautiful !!

Another attractive sketch, love the different tones.

A cracking scene Alan , beautifully done with a very nice pallet.

Excellent use of colour, great picture.

The way you inform the viewer is remarkable with such minimal brush strokes Alan. So full of narrative and drama.

Love the treatment of the building Alan……👍

Nice wintery feel. Looks so rapid. My daughter has persuaded me to do a sketch book instead of scraps of paper.

Lovely Alan.

Love your watercolour washes, amazing.

Cor blimey I can't believe me peeps. Gov.
