A beauty , a lovely little painting Alan of the old tug boat, one of my favourite subjects to paint.

I am not good at forgetting about detail, but I shall take you as my mentor... after all, if it works as well as this it's a skill well worth acquiring.

My favourite boat, a tug! Lovely loose expressive piece, Alan

I, too, tend to jump in[pardon the boat pun!!!] with both feet when painting wc of boats and harbours. Usually best not to overthink things!!

Great painting Alan, good colour and just enough detail.

Excellent Alan.

So simple and so effective.

Beautiful 😍

Simplicity at its best Alan

Lovely work Alan.

Love the subject, perfectly pained Alan.

Someone le as always to the point

Wow I meant simple as always To the point love it

I must admit I'm like Robert on here, I'm not good at forgetting detail either. Maybe you have started something here Alan!
