Again beautifully balance Alan great style colours and depth wonderful

I'm really enjoying your move into abstraction Alan - this one has energy, depth and composition - wonderful work

What great energy in this, love your mark making and textures

Love your rapids Alan, so much colour and movement!

Thank you Dennis, Lynne, Susie and Carole, much appreciated. This is a favourite style that I always seem to come back to when I am seeking inspiration from the landscape, and it's so much fun being able to express your feelings in a rapid and spontaneous way. I am out with my sketching easel and oils most mornings catching the different light and able to complete say 3 or 4 at this size in just over an hour or perhaps two. Obviously I won't post them all, that could be a case of 'overkill'. This non-figurative style lends itself to so many interpretations of the same scene, every day the light and sky changes, new colours appear, wonderful stuff, and I'm so pleased that you are enjoying looking at them. Thank you again.

Bold, lively and full of energy and atmosphere. Superb work, as usual, Alan!

Thanks Seok, Gudrun and Helen, greatly appreciated.
