Once again a story told in a few marks , such high quality work . It’s all the more impressive as it’s done from memory , the tug and lighter add life to the scene , I’m such a fan of the old Thames tugs.

Amazing how you’ve done this from memory Alan, even if you’ve painted the scene before

Love the contrasts between the different subjects in this, Alan!

Great how you do these Alan.

Really effective Alan. Beautifully done.

Always impressed by these 'simple loose' studies Alan.

Another little beauty Alan.

A lovely painting Alan, great quality with limited palette

Simple yet effective again Alan

Always good Alan

Obvious landmark of course, but I’ve added an old tug and lighter for interest! Simple loose watercolour with some pen work, A4 toned paper. No reference needed here, I’ve painted it hundreds of times in every medium!
