This is excellent Alan I do like this style of painting you use . It’s all there but not there if that makes sense.

I agree with Paul - I also like the this style - it’s loose but beautifully detailed and the depth achieved with the building in the background adds great depth Alan.

"All there but not there", said Paul: and that's so right - out of the mouths of Dixies and Ducklings, to slightly turn a phrase: in short - I know just what he meant, and he's quite right. (I think possibly Alan, Dixie, Sylvia, and I might be alone in understanding what I meant there: either that, or my grip on reason has finally slipped...)
