Many thanks DB, Thalia, Seth and Ibolya, it's a good job there is someone out there today, all sunbathing no doubt! The photo does look a bit out of focus, or is it how it's painted, I'll have to check.

Love the brushwork, the soft subtle colours in the sky and the rocks, and those two little boats, one with the red sail.

The little red sail just makes it for me Alan. The painting as a whole has that lovely summery feel about it. Very nice :)

20 x 40cm oil on board. Another one worked up from my daughter's photo's. She has sent me quite a few to go at, so this is starting to become a mini-series. As always, my take on things, photo's used as a reference point for some degree of accuracy.
