Well done, Alan, as usual. Impressive!

It's looking good Alan. It's a style I would like to adapt myself and will try.

Well, you have certainly caught the drama, Alan, particularly with that almost biblical downward sweep from the busy section of the sky! Really looking forward to seeing the finished, larger version.

It's certainly dramatic, Alan, love the colours, especially that splash of yellow in the sky.

Very appropriate for the weather we have now! A real vibrant dramatic piece Alan.

Wow this is packed with energy , I do like this new side to your work .

I really love this one . That sky is wonderfully dramatic and love the palette Diana

The sky is coming down with such a force, it's breathtaking Alan and I love it. We are recharged!

This caught my eye on the top gallery Alan. Love that sky and those bold strokes. Looking forward to seeing the large one.

Now who could have done this, as no one needs to ask...... I do not want to be in that landscape: wellies and sou'wester just wouldn't be enough. Dynamic painting, full of life and passion.

There's such drama in this. I look forward to the larger version!

Dark, heavy and brooding Alan....nice work indeed.

Drama in spades! Stunning work, Alan!

That's a real squall Alan! Woe betide anyone caught in it! Very atmospheric .

Oil on board 50 x 40mm. My usual quick sketch as a precursor to a large 48 x 40in canvas that I have started to work on. Looking for a dramatic sky, and with some dynamic brush work to suit which is taking shape niceley on the larger version which I will post when completed.
