Some lovely work here Alan great panache and colour

Beautiful colours again, Alan. The reflections are special, and I love the mid-distant foliage to the left of the painting. An individual and lovely painting.

Very great work, Alan, as usual and nice colours.

Another lively work, full of colour.

Very individual indeed Alan! Your style is unique and very attractive. You are not scared of using bright colours and I love that.

Superbly simple but stunningly brilliant Alan.

Love the confident brush marks and the colour Alan, well painted.

Wish I had the guts to use a palette of these colours - I'm sure I wouldn't get near this. I'll reserve the colours for my abstracts.

The comments about the colours you use are so pertinent Alan. Your paintings are eye catching and different!

I love your use of colour Alan. A really bold picture. Super.

Another super lively piece of work , splendid work Alan

Fantastic use of colour as always and great reflections.

I just love the freedom with which you use your colours!

A beautiful kaleidoscope of colour Alan...lots of suggested content in this and keeps one intrigued.

Thanks for all the interesting comments, I always appreciate them.

Stunningly dramatic, Alan. Such a lively, atmospheric piece.

Watercolour on Turner Grey paper, 11 x 15''. This 16C landmark, just a few miles from my home was once visited by Mary, Queen of Scots in 1586 where she spent two weeks, shortly before her execution. I have climbed the turrets many times to view the countryside in my earlier years, now fully restored to its original glory.
