Great piece Alan with many beautiful passages

I really like the way you interpret these scenes in such glorious colours Alan!

Not only Turner paper, Alan, but Turner's hand too. I have just glanced at Turner's watercolour, and now I see another one before my eyes. Great work, Alan.

The rigger may be hidden, but the quality is'nt. lucky man looking out at that view whilst working. Wonderful free use of colours Alan.

Very effective indeed Alan , really makes one think about the big shapes and making them work when detail is stripped out .

Amazing use of colour and reduction of info in this near abstract - another winner.

Really lovely, great colours and scene Alan. I love these watercolours that you can see so much without detailed guidance.

I don't know why it is, that so few details speak volumes and it's a technique/skill that you have mastered so well Alan. This view must provide you with endless inspiration.

Full of excitement .

Thank you all so much, I do certainly enjoy this view, and your comments are very welcome.

Beautiful use of colour here Alan, and' Wow!' what a view you have from your studio!!!

Thank you Chandra, yes, I am lucky.

Superb range of marks and tones. Beautifully done, Alan!

Watercolour on Turner Grey paper, 1/4 Imperial. Painted a few days ago looking out over the Carp pond with the river Trent in the distance. For this current series of watercolours I am concentrating on colour and tone, without adding any detail, so the rigger brush has been hidden.
