Fantastic stuff, Alan - so full of life and power: you make a believable scene with colours many of us would shrink from using (well, I would, anyway: the desaturated for me, none of your violence....).

Love these latest ones Alan.

Beautiful painting

Wonderful painting, Alan, great colours and great texture in the foregroung.

Superb Alan advanced techniques here

Love the depth achieved in this Alan.

Great textures and i like the composition Alan. Very beautiful scenery around you.

Full of impact, love the foreground and that blue is delicious!

Very appropriate paper for this one, you have caught at little of the master's liveliness here. Lovely saturated colours.

... the blood of ages trickling down the hill... or is that being fanciful?

Love the vibrant reds and the moody blues and beautiful foreground granulation to give texture here, Alan. The red reminds me of lovely poppy fields.

Stupendous work, Alan. The layers, depth and textures are superb.
