This one I do like Alan, and make that three to one, I think you were right to leave the foliage in the foreground. I love the texture in the sky and the movement and colours in the sea, especially the impression of surf. A dynamic addition to your Welsh series.

Hi Alan this is a nice painting it seems to be bursting out with colour. I think that's what makes it a very attractive painting .

Amazing oil painting. Beautifully framed with mountain flowers at the foreground. It's a really interesting impressive piece!

I love the textural quality you have achieved with the palette knife, and the blue colour bias is super.

Beautiful painting, full of vibrancy. The textured flowers in the foreground and the red sail on the distant yacht complete the composition.

Lovely use of palette knife Alan! I love the colours too.

You've got to love this Alan

Yes perfect subject and treatment with the knife Alan.

Thank you so much for your comments, they are always appreciated. Alan

This one just sings, Alan - beautiful strong and zingy colours and the great composition.

This is my favourite abstract oil from your Welsh period Alan. It looks very similar to Bwlch Tocyn Beach, Abersoch, where I used to holiday as a child. Again I love the perspective that the flowers in the foreground bring. Superb!

Oil on canvas painted with palette knife. 36'' x 28''. A fabulous view of this landmark with Mwnt church situated just to the right of the 'mound'. Isolated or what? Found this reference online and gave it my own take. Why can't I ever find deserted beaches like this!
