Aha, the snow has disappeared and the spring foliage appears! Lovely scene Alan following the lane into the distance, a typical calm English landscape.

This is grand - love to see your handling of trees in the green! Inspiring stuff.

Lovely painting Alan

This is lovely Alan.

What a joy to have the landscape free of snow and coming to life so beautifully Alan.

Classic landscape, love the high point aspect and the field marks.

Looks fantastic.

The landscape coming to life with spring in the air, lovely

Super painting Alan,

Spring comes to us, Alan. A real beauty: so colourful, an eye-catcher in the gallery.

Lovely scene Alan and you manage to make trees look so simple to paint!🤔

Love those bronze greens, Good to see the snow has gone.

Beautiful scene, love the colours and of course the trees. You'll be glad to have a change from all that snow!

Love the warm sunny fields Al, but I’ll tell you what drew my eye, the Cezanne style brush strokes of paint, left foreground.....wonderful!

Love those yellows Alan ! And the leading road. It’s a really harmonious palette for a great subject.

Well thank you all for your generous comments, always appreciated!

What a view. You have portrayed a completely different atmosphere with this palette

The road takes the viewer through the beautiful countryside - lovely application of colour and your usual addition of red(ish) roof tops complete a beautiful painting Alan.

Superb Alan brought to life a magical scene

Striking image Alan - love it - a beautiful summery scene.

Very nice indeed....love to see a road disappearing into the distance.

I like your your greens. There’s a hint of spring succeeding winter here, Alan.

Another classic Alan, Spring is just around the corner.

There is nothing quite the same as a quiet English country scene, the small cottages and a patchwork of fields and trees all in their splendor! A delightful panorama and the quiet country lane certainly helps us to visualize this scene!

A lovely quiet lane near me with nothing but fields, trees and old cottages for miles. Worked up in the studio from a few sketch book ink drawings done a couple of years ago - Jackson’s canvas/MDF board 40 x 50cm.
