That is so good!! Just love your use of mixed media!!

A very good piece of work Alan that must have captured the essence of your photograph very well.

Very well done Alan.

I like this a lot Alan

Delightful little mixed media pic 🙂

Love it Alan! You’ve created the age and mucky harling of these historic buildings and I love the texture and richness you’ve given the pan tiles. The whole thing has a 16th/17th century feel Alan.

Very impressive painting, Alan. Like it!

Very nice piece, some lovely textures and colours.

Excellent piece of work Alan.

Love the mottleness of the walls.

Superb perspective and great use of light and shade on these buildings. Well done Alan.

I like views from windows and this is very striking Alan - I love your use of mixed media.

Perfect perspective and detail and beautifully painted Alan.

I like the minimalist use of colour here. Well done.

Love those rich textures Alan. The geometric lines are so appealing and the whole scene is very tactile.

A super sketch Alan of an easily recognised Culross, a lovely village on the banks of the Forth which I live not too far away from.

Like this very much indeed.

Mixed media sketch, photo courtesy of Fiona. Pastel, acrylic ink and carbon pencil in a Hahnemuhle Aquarell 200lb watercolour block, 24x32cm. Never ideal using a photo for reference, but sometimes there’s no alternative. A reasonably accurate representation but that’s as far as it goes!
