A cracking example of your work Alan and one of your favourite subjects, this is without doubt up there with your best work. I could fill a page discussing this painting but I know that it’s not necessary as you already know how much I admire your work particularly scenes like this one.

Photographing work is a pain, I find - so I sympathize with you; but this is a fine painting even if the real thing is more vibrant than you're able to reproduce. You could always take a better photo? And post it, giving us a second bite?
