Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. I always feel that I am a bit out of my depth doing paintings like this, but you lovely people urge me on. Peter, looked it up and did a double take - thought for a moment I had been wrong and this might have been North Bar, however I did get the spelling wrong, it is Bootham. I might have been thinking of the cricketer!!
