This is fantastic, Julia - amazing in fact. I do not have anough superlatives to describe your beautiful and sensitive portraits. I can see every vein and ripple of muscle - how do you do it!! They just get better and better.

He's lovely - this is a fabulous series of portraits of a characterful animal; wonderful depiction of a splendid dog.

Thought I would paint a portrait of one of my dogs. This is Ash, a whippet, who we (Greyhound Rescue) fetched from a vets where he had been taken to be pts aged 6 years. He has now been with me 3 years and is gorgeous! Love working with the white pastel against the dark background - colourfix paper.
