Thank you everyone. I do enjoy working with pencils but it goes against the grain as I have been striving to paint more loosely with watercolours. Hey ho!!

I always found watercolour pencils a bit insipid, but looking at this I think I must have been using them incorrectly ! This is lovely, the duck's feathers are really well done and the duckling looks so fluffy. Good work.

I know what you mean Val but I find that when you add the water to the painting it really comes to life and that's the exciting bit. Thank you for your comment.
