As a complete novice I envy your skill and it really is a superbly set scene.  As a railway buff I need to add that your rear wagon has derailed and someone has pinched a couple of feet of the check rail at the nose of the turnout :))
If the rest of the steam comes out as well as that around the buffers, you’re onto a winner! Beautiful detail as always Malcolm, and it’s great to see you working on a different subject.
Well here it is finally finished. Spent a good few hours on the main steam column and I am happy with the final result. Overall now I am very pleased with the way this one has worked out. Hope you are too.
Brilliant and so detailed , a master class in painting trains Malcolm.
Well worth the wait.
It’s a super painting Malcolm and the subject is right up my street.
Yep! I like that.
Amazing as always Malcolm! Finishes the painting off perfectly.
Excellent work Malcolm your eye for detail and perspective makes for a perfect painting.
That’s amazing Malcolm..
