Sure is Anthony, but if it works for you, why not. Me too, I like to see how a painting develops. Always a bit of an adventure. It’s a slightly odd method isn’t it! I work randomly up to a certain point, concentrating on areas of flat-ish colour as they’re a quick win, then join the dots with the detail. Hilda is looking superb as usual, looking forward to seeing this one develop!White paper syndrome - think we could be twins Malcolm :) I work in exactly the same way. Looking forward to seeing Hilda progress!Hi Anthony. Often wondered if anyone else 'suffered' with the same problem. Sorry to hear that you do. I find its good to show the picture I am not happy with to someone else (In my case my wife) and ask what they think. When you get back "it looks fine" then off I go again quite happy.

I thought for today I would just add a close up of the work now done on the locomotive, rather than a full picture (more of that later). A lot more work done on the colour and shading on the loco and I think it is now looking much better. Plenty more to do however before I will be completely happy.
