I really like it, can't wait to see it painted. I'm sure you will do it justice and it will look great.
I really can't keep up with this topic- wonderful staircases including Denise's. Paul and Stephen, providing amazing sketches, Margaret and Hilary's watercolours, Sylvia's chucks and Lewis's doodles.  Interesting method Lewis - you are obviously in close contact with your imagination and can tap into it easily.  I thought that you would have had a gallery of features that you could tap into and each character would be a different mix of them - a bit like those painted pebbles and mixing them up. But then I know nothing of this genre. The Flea market looks like an ambitions project, Paul.  Looks like the kind of place I would visit pre-covid.  But this is a new world, where confinement means that if we want freedom, we have to use our imagination and memories
Could not resist drawing Hilary's Staircase. What a feat of carving.
I like your delicate sky, Hilary - the clouds work beautifully, and these staircases are fabulous!  A very ambitious composition, Paul - look forward to seeing your painting.  That staircase detail is excellent, Stephen - I loved the carving as well.

Well what a lot of subject , stairway, landscapes, skyscrapers, portraits, carvings and a flea market ,hope I haven’t missed any out. A watercolour from me something I had fun doing , mind you I have fun doing any painting I’m sure you know what I mean.
This is romping along at such a speed I can’t keep up, some very good work. On this page a cracking carved staircase and a lovely old door in a old stone wall. Mine is a scene from an early morning walk in the cold, water soluble markers A5.
You've made an excellent job of the carving on the staircase Stephen and Paul the door with the rusty chain and lock looks great.
I just love the colours in your door, Dixie, and you have really caught the early morning winter colours, Katy.      Here is a wee (A6) sketch done out my window - early morning sunlight striking these buildings at Edinburgh Castle) - despite being tiny (7" x 5"), this took me too mornings as I added more detail yesterday (paint was far too wet at the time then got caught up in other stuff).    If anybody is interested, my final painting from the Arthur's Seat preparatory sketches is now in the Gallery.

Two lovely paintings Katy and Margaret.  I was looking at old racing car’s  and decided to sketch this using pencil and water soluble pencils ,the slight brown colour come from inadvertently dipping the brush in my coffee.

Stephen, the detail of the staircase is really good and I like all the paintings and sketches by Paul, Katy and Margaret too. I posted my drawing for the flea market yesterday and now have done my best to turn it into a watercolour. I’m going to call it a watercolour sketch as there’s lots that could be improved. It’s been a bit of a challenge.
Excellent detailed watercolour sketch Paul. Really enjoyed seeing the various and varied pieces of work. Inspiring.
Love the little watercolour sketch of Edinburgh castle Margaret. Paul, that made me chuckle, painting with coffee! Why not! The flea market has turned out well Paul , looks very complicated to me so well done for trying it. Mine is a quick pencil sketch of the dog snoozing while watching Father Brown this afternoon.
