More great work! I am so behind doing anything but MUST get my finger out!
A very stylish car Dixie, and the coffee tinge looks good!  Paul, that sketch has developed beautifully - the colours used brought Manet to mind.   A lovely affectionate sketch of your dog, Katie. Was getting late and hadn't done a sketch so had a look at some old photos - here is a boat at Kippford from one of my old photos.  Watercolour and fountain pen.
Missed yesterday as it was the first day back to my online art class so I wont attempt to backtrack individually but suffice to say a lot of wonderful sketches from everyone. We usually always start with pencil exercises but this week we used coloured pencils, this was my offering of a snowdrop with a blurry background.
That snowdrop is really lovely Hilary, and I do like the boat Margaret. Mine is a watercolour and white gel pen sketch of some teasels I photographed out walking the other day.
Lovely soft colours Hilary and Katy - both lovely images.
Love the boat Margaret, Hilary your snowdrop is beautiful! The teasels make a great subject Katy! I have just tried a quick pastel pencil sketch on black pastel paper as an experiment. The northern lights were fabulous here last night so based on that! They are affectionally known as the Merry Dancers here!
Really like your "Merry Dancers" Gillian - would love to see these! Day 12 - a tap!  (Part of an ongoing urban sketching challenge)

This must be one of the busiest sketching months we’ve had. And we seem to be submitting a lot more colourful gems. Just from the above a very colourful boat, Margaret, and a quick shift to B&W for the terrific tap. Love the snowdrop, Hilary. It lends itself to coloured pencils very well. Katy, teasels are one of my favourites when it comes to botanical paintings and very nicely done in watercolour. Gillian, when I first looked at the picture the light really stood out, highlighting the standing stone silhouettes. Nicely done.  Well, to keep up I thought I would submit a small oil sketch done yesterday at the river just along the road. I’m trying to get my green mixes right for the perspective. Need to do a lot more trees.
Perspective has worked very well Ron - lovely sense of distance and space.    Was nice early this morning but by the time I did this sketch below the sky over Edinburgh was beginning to look pretty threatening (a few hours later and we have completely gray skies and what is I think sleet - yuck).   Didn't get colours quite right - clouds were more grey - and put too much wet on wet!  oh well, experience!
Hilary you have done a lovely job on the snowdrop. Katy I like the teasels you have painted. Gillian, it must be awesome seeing the Merry Dancers. Your oil sketch is looking good Ron and Margaret, I love the tap you have done. It is hard keeping up with everyone although I do look everyday.
We continue to have some diverse subjects and  I think they are all great! Had a walk along one of our lovely beaches with my dog. I picked up a shell so here it is in pastel pencil
Nice sketch Gillian, sounds like you had a wonderful walk. I've tried to tackle Brusho for a second time, I just can't get to grips with it. Anyway, here is my sketch with the Brusho, I don't think it's going to be something I'm big on.
