Excellent paintings and sketches on this page alone. I was messing about with some pen I was bought a few months ago, I’m having a bit of a hard time getting use to drawing with them. This is my attempts at hedgerows in snow covered fields.a5
I haven’t looked on here for a couple of days and everyone seems to be hitting their stride. There’s some really good paintings and drawing turning up.
I’m still tinkering with the snowdrop theme, this time in graphite.  Love the pastel shell Gillian very soft but enough to show the markings on the shell.  The effects of the brusho  look very random but a lot of fun Denise. The tap is terrific. Great view Ron for your oil sketch, very green I somehow imagined  Australia not to be . Margaret, the skies over Edinburgh are so unpredictable.  I worked there for a time some years ago, great city.
Lovely snowdrop sketch Hilary and Paul, the trees are real winter trees, I love looking at them in witer, like the starkness.
Lots of interesting and diverse subjects last few days, on this page good winter hedgerow against the snow, Paul, I do like the simple silhouette. Lovely snowdrops Hilary, mine will be out in a few days I think. I’ve been using up old paper with watercolour and white gel pen, another loose teasel sketch.
Somehow I’ve missed a few days and several pages of lovely stuff, so I’m not going to try to comment on all, but I have looked in and followed what’s going on! I walked around our village this morning, most shops obviously closed and I saw more ducks than people so took a few photos and here’s my pencil and watercolour sketch.
Love the ducks Tessa!
Thanks Katy, your teasels are lovely too! They always ask to be painted don’t they?
Yes, a mini obsession at the moment!
Another lovely varied selection.  Inspiration was lacking and it was getting late so drew my feet!
Good one Margaret!
Lots of good stuff once again, it seems to be going really well nice to see all the different work. From me a bunch of grapes , I wanted to see what I could do with Rose Madder, Cobolt  blue and Payne’s grey.  Of course I did not manage to mix the greens just a bit of messing about was quite fun to do. I was trying to get a bloom on the grapes not sure it worked.
