I know how you feel - don't think many of us like change (if it ain't broke don't fix it comes to mind) BUT let's hope they sort out the issues asap. Strikes me not enough market research was carried out as to what customers really liked or not and perhaps not enough pre-testing with a small regular panel of actual users. However, it's done. The biggest change of course is that we'll have to pay for using this site in a month. Understand they have to monetise but it is a shame. What I don't like though is that there is no other option than to direct debit. Normal approach would be to offer a direct debit that would be marginally cheaper than a one off credit card payment for an annual membership. I hate dd's. The main site will still be free - it's just the Studio stuff that will be a paid for subscription!

Alan - hope you're right about paying but it's not clear at all. The way I read it is that we'll have to pay to be members in order to post paintings and make comments (as well as receiving other benefits). Dawn - please can you clarify this particular point asap, thanks. Only a fee for the Studio stuff - everything else is free as usual!

Fixed today: No more multiple uploads; limit back to four per day. Maximum image file size it set to 6MB so should cover most images. Deleted images no longer showing in your account areas. Comments now showing on gallery images.
Other issues are still being worked on - thanks for bearing with us!

Hello!
I'm fairly new to the site but I did use the old version which I liked very much. It's great that it's been updated but totally agree on the limit to work submitted daily, otherwise there isn't as much variety to look at. Have to say the one thing I'm really not liking is the 'For Sale' banners across the images - spoils the work I think! Great to have the opportunity to sell artwork but not a great visual (my opinion obviously!)
Otherwise, apart from these minor issues, it's a fabulous site to be part of : )
