Morning everyone, still having problems logging in, the only way I can do it is through the forum on my laptop, I am really fed up of this new site, and like Jim think its a waste of time posting, plus I think it looks tacky with all the red for sale stickers across the paintings. Its looks just like a site now for artists to sell their work. A good site gone to waste. Linda Drury.

I know how you feel - don't think many of us like change (if it ain't broke don't fix it comes to mind) BUT let's hope they sort out the issues asap. Strikes me not enough market research was carried out as to what customers really liked or not and perhaps not enough pre-testing with a small regular panel of actual users. However, it's done. The biggest change of course is that we'll have to pay for using this site in a month. Understand they have to monetise but it is a shame. What I don't like though is that there is no other option than to direct debit. Normal approach would be to offer a direct debit that would be marginally cheaper than a one off credit card payment for an annual membership. I hate dd's.

As far as I know Linda, not all the site will have to be paid for.
Let's see what happens, Dawn will, I'm sure be able to sort out most of our issues quickly; the technical team, which are presumably the new web designers are on hand. The multiple posting issue will be a major problem as it does look as though the designers have removed any limit, Dawn, I'm sure, won't be pleased about that!

If you have to pay......then I’ll be leaving. I can understand a new website was probably needed, however, I feel it’s changed dramatically, in particular multiple postings, ugly red for sale signs to name two. I haven’t tried to post a painting yet. I’m still finding my way around. I’ve had to put my email in twice this morning!

First, congratulations to all the POL team on the splendid re-launch with all the new features! However, I agree with Heather that the 'number of views' was an interesting and very useful feature, please re-instate. Also please look at 'search for artist' -very confusing when all the members with that first letter come up. Finally, I was amazed to see all my failed uploads confronting me (.....from when I was learning to upload the right way up! ) I tried to address this, but the 'remove' button would not work. Anyone know how to do that? A BIG thank you in advance.

Well I've managed to get to the forum, having a load of trouble with password, keep getting emails to reenlist, only to be taken to same page, changed password, but every time I try to comment I have to sign in again, its doing my head in, at this rate I don't think I will be posting anything. Linda I will report this to the technicians Linda!
