Quick update before I leave for the weekend (please note that I don't work on Mondays and therefore won't be back in until Tuesday!) For sale banner has been moved and made more subtle. We believe all comments were imported from the old site. If you think you have any missing from your gallery please can you share the link to the relevant page and we will take a look next week. We will look at adding the number of gallery views back in to the site at a future date - won't be an immediate thing though I'm afraid. If you are using a phone or tablet to view the form and can't see the latest posts panel - it is at the bottom of the page! The new forum ranking system is based on number of posts rather than time as a member (like the old one) therefore some of you may have different rankings now. We will add a breakdown of the ranking structure as soon as we can Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for bearing with us!

Just a bit baffled at the following message when I tried to upload a picture: "You have exceeded the maximum amount of uploads for today (4), please try again tomorrow." I've only posted one painting today?

POL team.....all of the comments on all of my pics going back ten years are all gone. I t would be great if they were reinstated . A host of memories some   from members no longer with us.  Ok...just found something strange.  If I look for “ me” on the gallery , my pics appear with comments.  But if I look under My Art in my account they are not.  Was it always like this ? and am I shouting before I am hurt ? .

Mine also Sylvia, Fiona’s just told me the same as well. I’m not terribly bothered personally as it’s unlikely that I would revisit these, but I can understand why some may want them kept.

Hi  again,.  Does anyone else dislike the large profile picture on the forum, I think it maybe another glitch, or should I have edited it...?

I'm also having problems with the search facility. I'm trying to find the September painting challenge thread. The search displays the list of results, but clicking on any of the results simply reloads the search results page.  It's also a pain that the search at the top of the page searches the entire site, including the gallery, and not just the forum. It's only once you've performed a search that another search box is displayed which has an 'advanced' option that allows you to specify which area(s) of the site to search. Very frustrating!

There are no longer page numbers on the Gallery, just "next" and "previous". This is no good if you want to jump forward or back a few pages. I feel that the old system of numbering the pages is better.

Trying hard not to be annoyed, but when I tried to upload a picture this morning I got the same baffling message as yesterday "You have exceeded the maximum amount of uploads for today (4), please try again tomorrow." I haven't uploaded anything at all today and 1 pic yesterday.. What's happening? This is really spoiling my site enjoyment. )-:
