In actually fact Stephen started The month on the January post so here is is offering and good it is too! Thanks Stephen
Well done for starting off February Stephen and thanks for setting it up Gillian. This was a very quick what I call scribble sketching.
Hope daily sketchers aren’t too confused as Alan also asked about doing our challenge but had missed this new post! It’s great to know we are all so keen to keep it going!!

Sorry about double post there, tremor making an appearance! 😂
Sorry couldn’t see it for looking, now I can’t delete it
Nice sketches Stephen and Paul. Well, I might not do one every day but I could not miss on the first day, of course I would try every day if I didn't paint every day. I didn't plan this sketch, it developed as I did it and I was quite pleased with it as an idea, maybe for painting sometime with more background in it and more detail.

That’s very stylish Denise. I also looked for this earlier and couldn’t find it, though I did see it earlier in the day!  I don’t normally copy but am trying out some new pencils and did a version of Renoir’s still life with peaches, just to try out. A bit weird translating an oil into pencils but fun to do. Thanks for starting February. I always find January a long month, then February goes quite quickly, and you feel we’re into Spring!
Love the Renoir Tessa, the pencils give a lovely soft effect. I agree with Tessa about your sketch Denise, very stylish. Like the farmer with his sheep Paul, and Stephen has kicked February off with a great range of sketches. Mine is a water soluble marker scene from a photo taken last summer.
Rather lovely Katy. The markers give it a delicate look, atmospheric.
You have translated it very well Tessa and Katy, you have done a lovely scene.
Here’s my offering, a quick sketch of a little succulent
