Good one Margaret. I suspect the cat is not entirely innocent! This is hubby in the greenhouse potting and twiddling!
Other cats I would be more suspicious of - this one is pretty lazy!  (and as very hairy tends to mooch about looking for the coolest place in the neighbourhood in hot weather).  A very nice sketch of your hubby.
Trailing through some sketchbooks I found this pencil sketch on the right drawn on holiday in West Wales in 2014 so thought I’d do a pen sketch of the same scene today.  Interesting to me to see how I was drawing six years ago!
Two lovely sketches Tessa. I just realised that I did not post a sketch yesterday the first time I’ve missed since January. I was distracted as my four year old granddaughter made a rocket from junk, she the with her mums help challenged the whole family and her friends to make on , by the end of the day. There were some great efforts from card to bakery mine was six foot high. There is now to be  Evie’s weekend challenge every weekend till we get back to normal, should be interesting what a four year old comes up with.
Nice one Dixie and your granddaughters challenge is a great idea! Something positive every week.
Nice sketches Tessa, I particularly like the ink one.   Dixie, you should post your rocket and call it sculpture!   (why not?)   Your granddaughter's challenges sound fun - lovely to get the whole family involved in creating things - hope you enjoy them.  Lovely delicate rose. I did  four watercolours of the same scene at RSPB Mersehead (from a photo of dusk in January) over Thursday to Saturday - using a very limited pallet (2 main colours plus a touch of a third) - trying to get to grip with washes and seeing what works (and doesn't) - would be interested to hear which one(s) you think work best.   (The one my OH thinks works best is probably the one I think is the worst!)

Beautifully painted Margaret, here is my rocket. Im worried what’s thinks of next, as a four year old has no concept of what is achievable., her older sister and dad made a great  video of the rockets it  had subtitles and sound track it was amazing.
That rocket is fab!  Well done - and no wonder you forgot about a sketch!  Think you should be kind to yourself and count it as "art" so you don't miss a day - qualifies for me.
You win on the rocket Dixie. I’m not going to try to compete with that!  Margaret, I think I prefer numbers two and three, probably because there is more detail of the roughish area towards the near left. Interesting to see the difference.
No2 Margaret, but no4 looks interesting, subtle washes, just needs a flash of say Light Red or something, it would give it that exciting lift!
Meant to add, look at the Turner sketches! You’ll find them useful.
I agree with Tessa and Alan no2 , I can see it with additions Alan has suggested.
