For anyone who has been sketching since January 1st, it’s been great fun to see all the varied work and discussion, let’s keep going. I think this is important especially at this time, and let’s face it most of us have no excuse not to! Hopefully we can attract some new recruits as well.

Well done for opening a new topic on this, I was getting a bit lost in the old one - some fabulous stuff in there, though: particularly struck by Sylvia's portrait of her new dog, and by a tree drawing - forgotten the artist: Dixie D?  Anyway, can't offer a drawing every day, but I'll pop the latest three or so from my sketchbook on here; one a study for a painting, the others more of my dream-world - I dream pictures, then try to draw them, not always successfully.  So long as you know that these were never intended to see the light of day, and are just sketches!

Right, so here's the first -  and yes, the perspective is off on the bench; need to go back and look at it properly!  Not a great scan, either, but you weren't expecting perfection!

Lovely sketches Robert and Tessa, a good start to the month. A small a5 watercolour from me, it’s one of those scenes that I’ve seen somewhere and remembered it but don’t know where. Not seasonal I know but it’s bugging me to get it painted, maybe like Roberts it’s a dream scene?, I too wake up with a picture in my head mostly they go no further.
