That's unusual - I really like it and the colouring

Ethereal Katie is all I can think love the tones and flow and fully understand the thoughts behind the collection title, having spent a Lot of time in the mountains especially the high mountains in Packistan and the Karacoram you can feel that man is no more than a speck of dust, my fist time sitting on a snow slope as dawn came up at 1900ft alone put it all into perspective, nice work Katie love it.

Wow, thank you very much for your kind comments :)

The ‘We Were Never Here’ collection of representative paintings discussing the impact of the new world on the future of our species through a range of muted yet warm tones depicted in the form of trees within open landscapes. The title We Were Never Here plays with the idea of our existence being so brief on this Earth that all trace of our lives could disappear as quickly as we appeared. A New Day Dawns uses a haze that almost seems to be endless to express the possible vastness of the space. The use of warm reds, browns and hints of gold that carry through the painting are purposefully yet freely swept onto the canvass, invoking a feeling of warmth and comfort, contradicting the vulnerability apparent in the endless space.
