The Mind's Eye is Broken plays with the common phrase 'Mind's Eye' which refers to the human mind's ability to visualise imagery. The painting deals with the mental block which artists along with others with creative minds suffer from when under pressure to perform. The painting is an answer to the ability to create, even whilst suffering from a creative block.
