Poison Ivy is a homage to DC's Poison Ivy portrayed in Batman. Here I have taken a popular comic figure and recreated her as a realistic being as a notion to represent how comic art has recently been discovered and appreciated as a real art form. To push this idea further, I have painted her with influences from art in Ancient Greek, from the Goddess-like connection to the Earth beneath her, to the curvaceous traditional body shape.
