Oh , Thankyou all for the encouragement.Maybe the Grandma will like it too. The dog was mine and I love him but he was too much for my place so handed him on to my son's family. He is part Wolfhound part Shorthaired Pointer. Very affectionate and energetic.

A commission from my daughter in law to paint her mothers house - it’s next door and I decided to include my grand daughter and their dog to add some life to the watercolour . I think it borders on being overworked but they wanted it to be fairly detailed. The highlights are tinted gouache white .

I'm an 81 year old retired surgeon . Art has been my lifelong obsession away from work and now my main focus in life together with woodwork. I enjoy creating and making in any medium but have always gravitated to drawing and watercolour. I've also had limited training in etching and sculpture.
