A postcard from grandfather to grandson . 4x6" watercolour and gouache . I like the beauty of skeletal structure as it perfectly conforms to function and also enjoy studying the comparative anatomy of animal species as the basic structure is modified by evolution to fit the environmental constraints encountered in an ever-changing ecology. All my relatives and close friends are getting a unique postcard as we life out our covid19 isolation.

I'm an 81 year old retired surgeon . Art has been my lifelong obsession away from work and now my main focus in life together with woodwork. I enjoy creating and making in any medium but have always gravitated to drawing and watercolour. I've also had limited training in etching and sculpture.
