What a sight this must have been to behold Wib, were you able to feel some kind of ‘shift’ in the atmosphere when sun crept above the horizon? It’s magnificent! Thank you for your very kind comment on my last posting.

It's been a number of years, Fiona, but it's interesting how some places seem etched into memory. Nicaragua's east coastline has a series of lagoons which allow folks to travel by water without having to venture out into the ocean itself. Many of these mornings would have a gentle onshore breeze and you could virtually feel transported to a mystical place despite the tragedy of political turmoil that was swirling about during those times.

Your description sounds divine Wib....treasured memories to look back on.....and inspiration for beautiful paintings.
