Free at Last
A number of years ago a friend and I co-owned an aircraft. While expensive it was a lot of fun. I remember days, especially in the Spring, flying over open country where there seemed to be a carpet patterned with dozens of shades of green. That birds-eye view reminded me each day I saw that phenomenon why I went to the time and expense of acquiring a pilot’s license. This painting might gather together some of those memories as a cluster of balloons fly free of the earth’s restraint.
