Rufford Abbey under snow.

Wow - that is superb, Brian. Well worth waiting for!!

Super....and I can put my own inability to be able to produce something so splendid down to the fact that I don't have round tuit!

Beautiful watercolour Brian. The light and shadow on the Abbey, the patches of snow on the topiary and the silhouette of the trees……lovely.

Thank you for your generous comments David. I can certainly recommend a round tuit Tony but find I have work on my enthusiasm. Thank you Christine & Fiona I really appreciate your comments.

A superb painting, the scene is beautifully painted, everything is do good about it , tree, sky the lot. Everyone should have a round tuit, I have one most days, sorry I digress ,. So much skill displayed in this painting, hood it has a frame arranged, it too good to store away .

What a beautifully executed painting; the light is perfect!

Fabulous Brian, worth the wait! I love everything about it.

Skilfully and beautifully painted. Warm and cool tones in all the right places.

Super painting Brian, natural looking colours and good composition with the abbey framed by those trees

Thanks for the comments. I'd not thought of framing it up Paul but I was considering it for a Christmas card as there are only 11 months to go. Thank you Karen. It took 12 months to commit it to paint but I'm in front for next Christmas Heather. Thank you James.

Thanks so much for that Frank.

Like this a lot Brian, the building is especially well painted.

A cracker, Brian. All great, but the sunlight on the scene is so well done.

Thanks for commenting Stephen & Lewis.

Wow amazing!!

That's a beautiful snow painting Brian. The composition, colours and paint handling are excellent!

Thank you for your comments Faye & Sarah.

Amazing, Brian... the shadows & highlights are especially convincing. Well done.

Excellent work.

Thank you for your comments Mark & Brian.

Delightful painting, Brian!

What. As beautifully cold atmosphere. Live the warmth of the light. I’m always impressed with snow scenes painted in watercolour

Nice grouping and links

I like everything about your painting of Rufford Abbey, trees ...shadows... I can feel the snow underfoot...

Thanks so much Linda. I'm always chuffed to get a favourable comment from you Diana. Cheers John. There is no higher compliment than to be able to transport the viewer into the scene James.

Watercolour from a photograph taken during a socially distanced walk from the winter of 2021. It’s just taken 12 months to get a round tuit.
