James Trueman

Biography

I grew up on a Nottinghamshire farm and I have lived in Bedfordshire, Suffolk and Somerset. Currently I live in Derbyshire with my 2 cats and partner. I followed my mother in my interest in art and attended art college for 3 years, where I studied graphic design. I have enjoyed using different mediums in my art. Currently I tend to use mixed media in my painting and am looking to explore using water based oil paints. I have always enjoyed doing portraits but currently I am exploring and enjoying landscape painting.
