I like the drama of this woodland scene, I can imagine an Orc creeping along that pathway!

Beautiful dappled light Martin and lovely greens.

Lovely again Martin with your colour and light.

Oh, I like this a lot, has perfectly captured a lovely summer's sunlight in a wooded path.

Good one Martin.

Thanks Stephen. I can see what you mean. I think I should do a selfie along there to perfectly complete your image. Ha

Thanks Karen Marjorie Heather and Stephen H. Always appreciate your comments

Really wonderful.

You've gone for the Fude pen too, eh? I recently bought two of them, intending to use the cheaper one for carbon ink and the other for cartridge ink - and can't stop playing with them. I would have liked to claim authorship of this one, but will just to try emulating it. You've caught a real sense of light and shade in your very inviting pathway.

Just HAVE to try emulating it: touch typist; very fast - NOT always very accurate..

Love the drama in it, Martin. Well done!

Lovely green colours with dappled sunlight Martin.

Lovely work Martin!

Lovely ink-and-wash!

So very dramatic! Wonderful dappled shade and a lovely variety of greens.

Stunning work 🤩

Lovely work, Martin - excellent light and shade and an intriguing pathway!

Nicely done Martin.

Great job here Martin…excellent tonal work!

Fabulous light.

Thanks for having a look and posting your very kind comments Denise Robert Mia Carole Sarah Emma Spencer Danielle Anne PogArt Alan and Shirley I bought my Fude pen last Spring and find it very addictive Robert. I use carbon ink which is great for washing over with watercolour as it doesn’t run

Lovely depth to the shadows, and a lot of colour in there too - it's very good!

I confess I’ve only recently heard of fude pens. This is gorgeous, the dappled path is beautifully done.

Love how you have painted the light and shadows!

Thanks very much Hilary Hilary and Romila

Love the interesting tree shapes and the dappled sunlight Martin.

This is a lovely little local Nature Reserve and I loved the bright greens contrasting with the dark trunks and shadows. Sketched En plein air with Fude pen and finished in studio with watercolour. On Canson 1557 pad A4 size
