The contrast of characterful (damaged old warty) trees and fresh spring bluebells in the grass caught my attention in the bright cold sunshine a few days ago in the grounds of Lindholme Hall. Sketched with Fude pen and ink En plein air and completed with watercolour indoors. On 12x9” Arches fine grain watercolour paper
