A stunning painting. It has a mystical, lyrical quality to it. Ah, the art of what to leave out, what to put in. I like the calm value of the snow which brings the other players out.

Thanks very much Hilary and Lynne. What to leave out is the big question in Watercolour particularly. I often put lots in but this type of painting requires restraint and letting the paint do the work
