A wonderful piece of work Martin.

This is excellent, lovely tangled hedgerow, and the spot of red on the robin provides a nice touch. The black certainly makes everything pop.

This is beautifully done!

Thanks Val. I had my doubts about black watercolour paper but it’s fun to try something different

Thanks Spencer. Very kind

This is glorious. So much to look at. Love the contrast in tones and the varied marks. Super.

Walking George in late January I was captivated by the frost kissed landscape and took lots of photos. This is based on one when I spotted a Robin hopping into the trees. It’s my first attempt at using black watercolour paper and I’ve learnt a lot from it. Watercolour and gouache and white ink pen on Clairefontaine Etival Black Watercolour paper A4
