Quite beautiful and so eye catching, Martin!!

We are all drawn to the light Martin, no light no art. A really good sense here of strong illumination.

Beautiful 😍

Trees are one of my favourite subjects. I wish I had your talent in capturing them this sensitively.

A lovely pastel Martin. You really are drawn to the light in those silver birches!

This has a very moody and atmospheric feel to this pastel work Martin. Excellent.

Moth blood or no this is lovely, full of light and splendour

Love how you’ve handled those ‘threads’ Martin.

Lovely - I love birches and you have caught their ethereal quality really well.

This is a brilliant painting Martin. I love the shape of the trees and the light coming through them.

Love those silver birches and your expert use of light Martin.

Absolutely love this Martin. Woods, trees etc do it for me every time. Gorgeous light and subtle colours……beautiful.

I like the freedom of this - and I can see your attraction to the light and stained glass: I can see this as a piece of glass with the light behind it: it'd be fantastic.

Beautiful work

Thanks very much Fiona Robert and Romila. Appreciate your input

I think I may have moth blood in me as I’m irresistibly drawn to the light. I couldn’t resist this scene at Hatfield Moors early October. The thin silver birches appearing like tangled threads of white light in the shadows. This is a pastel I started in En plein air and completed in studio. On charcoal Pastelmat 30x40 cm
