Carole and Paul: Thanks for your kind comments which are appreciated. The Derwent Inktense product provides a wide range of colours and is easy to use; great for plein air applications Its ideal for wet-on-wet and allows for glazing with a rapid drying time.

8 inch by 10.5 inches Derwent Inktense and ink painting. A short walk down the shoreline of Kluane Lake from where I painted my previous “Kluane Lake” painting, also included in this gallery, I came upon a derelict fishing boat and its skiff. Once a boat used by the local First Nations people (on whose land it now lies), its exposed ribs and broken frame suggest its fishing days are now over.
