Oh dear! A lovely illustrative painting Tony.

I hated going to the butchers for my mum. Great picture

Super story and very skilfully painted Tony. Love all the objects in the window.

Really enjoying looking at your paintings - different and each with a lovely story to tell.

Wonderful narrative, Tony!

Brilliant memory jerker Tony and a situation I can relate to, although it was dropping a box of eggs in my case. Money, you didn't ever lose...or.....)-: Lovely art work.

A huge thanks Lewis, Stephen, Paul, Tessa, Jacqueline, Carol, Heather, Thalia, Russel and Jim. Your comments were so lovely to read and made me feel very welcome. Jim.. i get that about losing the money, grounded for two weeks comes to mind : ) I hope you are all well, Tony

Been there, done that...was I in trouble.

I think parents were a bit more strict back then Sylvia but i guess we all learn from those childhood moments. : )

This anxious young lad has been sent to the local butchers shop by his mother to buy some meat for the weekend dinner but it’s not his day as he’s lost her money, thoughts of a solution rattle through his mind but there aren’t any, he knows he has to go home and give her the bad news. Those tough moments of childhood sometimes are gladly forgotton 😊
