Fantastic detail and sentiment Tony, and two ounces of Bon Bon’s please!

So so good - many happy memories too.

Brilliant Tony, your pictures always evoke my childhood- happy days!

Thanks so much Tessa, thats lovely, cor .. bon bons, its pink flavour for me 😊

A huge thanks Heather, it was lovely to read your comments 😊

Many thanks Stephen, thats kind 😊

Ahh thanks Frances, its nice that it connects in some way 😊

And another of your excellent painting, each one tells the story aimed for. Both my young granddaughters love looking at them and we have used them to explain how things have change since my childhood. They collected together would make a great book for people to use for recall, I have seen this done with photos , when I worked with elderly people.

Hi Dixie.. hope you are well, well thanks so much for great comments, it’s so lovely that your granddaughters like to look at them and they trigger memories. I have thought about books etc as you say and have two more to paint for a series of twelve so i’m thinking of a calendar also. Happy painting our chap 😊👍🏼

Excellent painting

The sweetshop assistant on the right looks forward to her daily conversations with her customers who tell wonderful stories of the sweets they used to eat as children and the happy memories that they had with so many choices of delicious candy, then they see their forgotton fave’s in ‘ this ‘ sweetshop and just have to have some whilst a smile from ear to ear fill their faces, which is why the assistant wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.
