Thanks Anjana, thats very kind : )

Absolutely lovely. I'm sure we can all remember the moment we wondered about our own shadow

A beautiful portrait Tony, I knew it was your work before seeing the name. I see my two youngest granddaughters doing thing like this, such fun watching them learn.

Love all the little details such as the hair slide and the gel sandals that produce the cutest of child characters. Such charming moments beautifully recorded, remind us of the fragility and preciousness of childhood memories. So glad to be able to comment here, as when your paintings appear on the studio wall, I don’t know where to leave a comment and your paintings are always worthy of high praise Tony.

Brilliantly observed and painted Tony

Instantly recognisable as one of yours Tony lol, you can see what's going on in the child's mind, lovely 👍😀

Innocently charming Tony.

Thanks very much Heather, that was lovely to read, it’s nice that it triggered something 😊

Thanks so much for your kind words Paul, yes being all grown up ourselves these things tend to be forgotton and it’s kind of daft but nice to see the young ones being so curioos : )

Thanks so much Carole, it was so lovely to read your comments, i’m glad you like it and it’s so kind of you to make such nice comments on my work. I know what you mean about the studio wall, i’m still figuring this all out myself too 😊

An innocent moment going back to childhood and the silly things that we tended to believe can be distant memories but there for a reason. I remember me and my shadow holding a conversation which obviously was a one way chat but it felt real to me : ) Heres a scene showing one of these moments.
