Lovely picture, Thea.

Extraordinarily good considering the way this was drawn. So much movement and vitality which I'm not sure you would have achieved had you drawn this in a more conventional way! I'm not exactly sure why this is, but it's quite a revelation to me.

Lovely happy painting, haven't tried upside down yet, but I will! lol

I would, but I have never ever mastered doing a handstand and I feel it is a tad too late to succeed with that one, lol! I will have to content myself with turning the photo I am working from upside down - a bit duller but the other option might result in a trip to A & E.

I had somehow missed this Thea but saw it in Facebook just now and it is such a wonderful painting! Full of life and the children look so happy and carefree. Thank you again for suggesting this method of drawing, it has given us so much!

I've been out all day and only just saw it on Facebook. Thank you for your kind comments and glad you are having as much fun as I am experimenting with these unusual drawing methods. For anything tricky from now on, I shall definitely turn my reference photo and paper upside down!
