Smashing; this really works well. Great roses too. You said you weren't sure about the composition so I suggest you now get two right angles of card , make a rectangle with them and move it around the picture trying different areas of it to see if any areas look better than others.

Great gallery Thea, I think that you are "learning" very fast. I could never produce such lovely watercolours. Well done!!

This works a treat Thea, lots of colour but not unbalanced and lots of energy which can be a tall order in a still life - very well done.

I feel I have a long way to go before I achieve what I have as my goal, but it is proving to be a very enjoyable experience getting there (if I ever do!). Still life used to be my bete noire, so I have at least made progress with that aspect.
