For someone who curled up her toes at this sort of work you are doing very well....lol.

Its quick but lovely in your lovely style well done Thea .

Fresh and spontaneous, love the little windbreaks and the dinghy

Lovely fresh sketch Thea

Thank you very much Sylvia, Dennis, Pat, Dennis and Michael for your very kind (and probably rather too kind!) comments. It really is only a scrappy and very quick sketch so not worthy of too much attention, but I really appreciate all your very generous feedback.

Fantastic sketch Thea, love it

You never have trouble with something I struggle with Thea....and that's scale. Everything fits beautifully.

Thank you Petra and Fiona - very kind of you. Fiona, I actually struggle with everything!! Scale, perspective, composition - you name it and it promotes angst in me. Funnily enough though, the only time I don't bother about all that is when I dash off a little sketch like this as there seems so much less pressure to produce a masterpiece (not that I ever do, but you know what I mean).

A charming little take on the seaside Thea, and lovely little details in the foreground.

These quick sketches very often turn out to be little gems, and this is one of them, spontaneous and lively, nice work Thea.

It's a smashing little holiday sketch Thea. One you'll look at in future years and remember that happy possibly challenging day rowing the dingy. Sounds like hard work to me but at least you had a relaxing break sketching. These are the sort of sketches that are most fun to do aren't they? I imagine that you were smiling to yourself when putting in all the little people scooting round having a good time on the beach. So much activity here and lots to look at. A good time had by all it seems!

Looking through your gallery,Thea.I love your work.....and attitude

Lovely informative little sketch Thea.

If you call this splashing some colours on paper, I'll have to hide my painting tools in the cellar for ever! You have again caught the summer holiday feeling, the sun Is shining and everybody is enjoying themselves on the beach. Super sketch Thea!

Charming Thea! Enough is enough.

As someone has already mentioned this is charming!

Love those vibrant, energetic lines, and the fabulous sunny atmosphere, so well captured. Lovely work, Thea!

Lovely, loose, fresh style. I like it a lot!

Just a very quick sketch done in between our picnic lunch and then trying to teach my younger grandchildren how to row their dingy. Sploshed some paint on and then it had to do.
